Research cruise on R/V Aranda

R/V Aranda is the main research vessel in Finland. We are a group of 25 scientist and a crew of 13 setting out on a research cruise 4-15 April 2016. In this blog we present our experiences.

The oxygen in the deep water is gone


We have reached north of Gotland and the deep water has very little oxygen left. Here from station F79: 58 27' N 20 10' E
